17. BOOKING AND RESCHEDULING
Customers are expected to attend personal sessions at the agreed date and time.
If you need to reschedule, please use the rescheduling option provided with your booking confirmation or contact:
as early as reasonably possible.
Rescheduling an appointment does not automatically cancel the purchased package or create a right to a refund.
Where preparation has already begun specifically for a customer, including game analysis, that work forms part of the service already provided.
RefBetter may occasionally need to reschedule a session because of illness, officiating assignments, travel, technical issues or other reasonable circumstances.
Where RefBetter reschedules a session, another suitable appointment will be offered.
18. WITHDRAWAL, CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
Consumers purchasing online may have statutory withdrawal rights.

Where valid immediate digital-access consent and acknowledgement have been obtained and digital delivery has begun, the statutory withdrawal right relating to that digital content may be lost in accordance with applicable law.
Where personal services begin during the statutory withdrawal period at the customer's express request, the customer may be required to pay a proportionate amount for work already performed if the customer subsequently exercises a valid withdrawal right.
Full details are contained in the:
Withdrawal & Cancellation Policy
Nothing in these Terms restricts mandatory consumer rights.
Latvian distance-contract rules specifically provide for the loss of the withdrawal right for digital content where the required prior express consent, acknowledgement and confirmation requirements are satisfied.

If digital content or a digital service is not supplied or materially does not conform to the contract, statutory remedies may apply, including correction of the problem, price reduction or contract termination where legally available.

The current version will be available at refbetter.com.
28. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of Latvia.
However, if you are a consumer residing in another EU/EEA country, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under the law of your country of residence.
EU consumer legislation harmonises important information and withdrawal rights for distance contracts throughout the EU.
